Russia halts gas supplies to Latvia
Company previously halts natural gas shipments to Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands for not receiving payments in rubles

Russian energy giant Gazprom has halted gas supply to Latvia, citing a "violation" of the conditions for gas withdrawal.
"Today, Gazprom stopped its gas supplies to Latvia specified in the July request due to a violation of the conditions established for gas withdrawal," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The company had previously stopped natural gas shipments to Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands on the grounds that they had not paid in rubles.
