European stock exchanges closed higher Thursday, rallying for the second consecutive day.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 4.63 points, or 1.03%, to finish at 454.84.
The UK's FTSE 100 increased 56 points, or 0.74%, to end the session at 7,620.
Germany's DAX 30 added 193 points, or 1.26%, to close at 15,522. France's CAC 40, meanwhile, rose 76 points, or 1.06%, to finish at almost 7,263.
Italy's FTSE MIB increased 282 points, or 1.05%, to 27,021.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, soaring 136 points, or 1.5%, to end the day at 9,207.
