Taylor Swift made history At this year's MTV's annual Video Music Awards, the singer who showed up in a shiny ensemble all covered with silver diamonds won the biggest honour of the night VMAs video of the year award for Taylor’s Version of her 'All Too Well'.
With this win, Swift has become the first singer in the history of the VMAs to win the top honour three times. Before this, she took the award in 2015 for 'Bad Blood' and the second time in 2019 for 'You Need To Calm Down.'
Taylor also made sure to make this special win a remarkable one. So, during her acceptance speech, Swift surprised fans with her new music album that will be released on October 21 this year.
"We wouldn't have been able to make this short film if it weren't for you, the fans," she said during her emotional acceptance speech.
“I thought it would be a fun moment to tell you that my brand new album comes out Oct. 21,” Swift said.
Swift has also made history by becoming the first artist to win an award in the Best Direction category for the song “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)”
Later, she shared the first poster of her forthcoming album titled 'Midnights'. She tweeted, ''Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.''
