The UN health rights expert also highlighted Zionist actions in Gaza, asserting: "The events unfolding in Gaza are part of Israel's longstanding pattern of impunity for committing atrocities."
The UN rapporteur also voiced apprehension about Gaza's situation, adding: "We fear a looming humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza due to the presence of decomposing bodies and the potential outbreak of epidemics. Immediate ceasefire is imperative."

Simultaneously, France issued a statement urging an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, citing the dire humanitarian crisis.

Earlier, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Resistance Organization blamed Washington for prolonging tensions and conflicts in the region. The spokesperson emphasized that Netanyahu seeks to portray the resistance as hindering negotiations' progress.
