France reached the Women's EURO 2022 semifinal Saturday by shutting out the Netherlands 1-0 in the last quarterfinal match of the tournament.
Eve Perisset's penalty kick in the 102nd minute gave France the win at New York Stadium in Sheffield, England.
England is set Tuesday to take on Sweden, while Germany will face France the following day in the semifinal round.
The EURO 2022 final will be held July 31.
Founded in 1982, the UEFA European Women's Championship is the main competition in women's association football between national teams of the UEFA confederation and held every four years.
The Netherlands are the reigning champions but Germany has eight titles.
