Germany displayed an emphatic performance at end of the third quarter, scoring 20 points but trailed 71-65 at the end of the quarter thanks to Spain’s 19 points.
Spain controlled the fourth quarter and marched into the final.
Lorenzo Brown was huge for Spain, scoring 29 points to go along with six assists.
Willy Hernangomez added 16 points, Juancho Hernangomez had 13 and Alberto Diaz scored 10 in the win.
A standout performance by Dennis Schroder was wasted by Germany.
The point guard finished with 30 points and eight assists. Franz Wagner and Andreas Obst each had 15 points for Germany.
Poland and the German hosts will meet at 1515GMT in the third place game for a spot on the podium.
EuroBasket 2013 champion France and three-time winner Spain will face off at 1830GMT for the 2022 title.
The games will be played Sunday at EuroBasket Arena Berlin.
The 41st edition of the EuroBasket tournament was held in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy from Sept. 1 - 18.
