Manchester City won against Inter Milan with a score of 1-0 and became champions of UEFA Champions League 2023 on Saturday.
The game took place at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
In the first half of the game, Manchester City dominated but neither team could score. In the 27th minute, Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana saved Erling Haaland’s left-footed shot from very close range.
Kevin De Bruyne was injured and replaced by Phil Foden in the 36th minute.
Lautaro Martinez attempted to score inside the box but goalie Ederson rescued Manchester City in the 59th minute.
Rodrigo made a close-range finish assisted by Bernardo Silva and broke the deadlock in the 68th minute.
After two minutes, Federico Dimarco missed an opportunity to level the match after hitting the crossbar with a header.
Phil Foden lost a chance to double the lead in the 78th minute.
In the 88th minute, Ederson produced a fantastic save to deny Romelu Lukaku’s header.
