Kylian Mbappe, the superstar of PSG, denied on Tuesday the reports that he will move to Real Madrid this summer. He wrote on Twitter: “Lies… The more outrageous the lie, the more credible. I have already said that I will continue at PSG next season, where I am very happy.”
The France forward, 24, joined PSG permanently from Monaco in 2018 after a season-long loan and extended his contract until 2025. He was linked with Real Madrid after his countryman Karim Benzema departed the club last week for Saudi club Al-Ittihad.
Mbappe is a vital player for both France and PSG, as he helped Les Bleus lift the 2018 World Cup trophy. He has won six French championships, one with Monaco and the rest with PSG. He is also PSG’s all-time top scorer with 212 goals in 260 matches, surpassing Edinson Cavani, who now plays for Valencia.
