The scheduled match against Palestine, originally set to take place in the occupied West Bank, has been relocated to Kuwait due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. A portion of the players' match fees from this crucial game will be allocated to support Oxfam's humanitarian initiatives in Gaza, as confirmed by Professional Footballers Australia.
Beau Busch, the co-chief executive officer of the organization, expressed solidarity, stating, "The thoughts of the PFA are with all of those impacted by the conflict and the humanitarian crisis that is unfolding as a result," in an official statement.
