West Ham United has announced the signing of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United on a seven-year deal, pending international clearance. The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on the undisclosed fee transfer, bringing an end to his three-year stint at Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka, who will wear the No. 29 jersey, expressed his excitement and happiness to be joining the Hammers, stating that it was a "no-brainer" for him to make the move. He is thrilled to be returning to his hometown of London, where he was born and raised.
"I'm excited and happy to be here," Wan-Bissaka said. "It's an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I'm excited for what's coming. I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me."
During his time at Manchester United, Wan-Bissaka scored two goals in 190 matches and was part of the team that won the 2023 English League Cup and 2024 English FA Cup.
