Liverpool vice-captain James Milner on Monday extended his contract with Liverpool for one more year, until next summer, the club announced.
"I’m very pleased to be staying for another season. I have never taken playing for this club for granted and I never will," said the veteran midfielder, according to Liverpoolfc.com.
"Now this is signed, I’m already looking forward to getting back with everyone, refocusing and going again. It’s a brilliant dressing room to be part of."
Milner, 36, joined the Reds from Manchester City on a free transfer in 2015.
Milner has 26 goals and 44 assists in 289 games under his belt for Liverpool, and helped them bag the UEFA Champions League in 2019, English Premier League in 2020, FIFA Club World Cup in 2020, and FA Cup in 2022.
