An interesting report has surfaced regarding the production of 155mm artillery shells in a factory located in Pennsylvania. The shells were ordered by the US Department of War for use in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
According to the report, the US has already produced and sent 2 million 155mm cannon balls to Ukraine for use in the cannons that were previously sent to the country. The production price of each 155mm cannon ball is reported to be $800. In comparison, the price of each Javelin anti-armor missile is about $80,000 and each guided cannon ball is $100,000. This makes the production and use of cannon balls a more economical option for America and its allies.
The report sheds light on the efforts being made by the US to support its ally in the conflict with Russia. The production of artillery shells and other military equipment is a crucial part of this support and highlights the ongoing commitment of the US to aiding Ukraine in its struggle.
