Israel has been committing atrocities against the Palestinian people for years, with the support and encouragement of the United States and some Western countries. However, the recent “operation Al-Aqsa storm” by Palestinian resistance groups inflicted a heavy and irreversible blow to Israel’s military and political power.
Why did Israel bomb the Gaza hospital?
The operation Al Aqsa Storm exposed Israel’s vulnerability and brutality, as it responded with indiscriminate airstrikes and shelling on Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians, including children and women. One of the most horrific crimes was the bombing of al-Ahli hospital, a medical facility that was treating the wounded and providing humanitarian aid to the besieged population.
The images of the hospital bombing, which showed the bodies of the martyrs and the blood-stained walls, shocked the world and sparked global outrage. People from different countries and backgrounds took to the streets to protest against Israel’s aggression and demand justice for the Palestinians.
However, the US government remained indifferent to the suffering of the Palestinians and continued to provide unconditional support to Israel. US President Joe Biden visited Israel shortly after the hospital bombing and reaffirmed his commitment to Israel’s security and interests. He also sent two warships to the Mediterranean Sea and approved more weapons shipments to Israel, giving a green light to its ongoing attacks on Gaza.
America's green light to Israel to bomb the hospital
Many experts believe that the US support for Israel is motivated by several factors, such as maintaining its strategic ally in the region, advancing its joint plan with Israel to dominate the Middle East, and eliminating the Palestinian resistance by any means necessary. Biden himself admitted that if Israel did not exist, the US would create it.
However, experts also warn that the US support for Israel is counterproductive and will only hasten its demise. They argue that if Israel continues its crimes against the Palestinians, it will face more resistance and isolation from the international community. They also suggest that if the patience of Muslims and Palestinian groups runs out, Israel’s destruction will be inevitable.
US and Israel’s joint plan to displace the Palestinians
Israel and the US have been occupying and oppressing the Palestinians for decades, with the aim of expanding their territories and influence in the region. They have imposed a siege on Gaza, restricting the movement and access of its people, and launched periodic military assaults, killing and injuring thousands of Palestinians.
Now, after facing a strong resistance from the Palestinian groups in the “operation Al-Aqsa storm”, they are trying to implement a joint plan to evacuate Gaza and the West Bank, and annex them to Israel. According to Palestinian sources, this plan involves forcing half of the Gaza population to migrate to Egypt, and the West Bank population to Jordan, in order to achieve their long-held goal of erasing Palestine from the map.
The sources revealed that the US and Israel are pressuring Egypt to accept the relocation of the Palestinians to Sinai, offering to cancel its debts in exchange. They also said that the US and Israel are planning to destroy and disarm the Palestinian groups, including Hamas, as part of their scheme.
The Palestinians will not give up their land
The US and Israel may resort to any crime to advance their plan, but the Palestinians have shown their steadfastness and determination to defend their homeland for years. They are not willing to abandon their land under any circumstances.
The US needs to kill the people of Gaza
The bombing of al-Ahli hospital was another proof of the US’s hypocrisy and complicity in Israel’s crimes. The US, which claims to be a champion of human rights and uses this pretext to interfere in other countries’ affairs, supported Israel instead of condemning its attack on a medical facility that was serving the wounded and needy people of Gaza.
The US also vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that called for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid to Gaza, showing its disregard for international law and human dignity. This is not surprising, as the US has a history of blocking any resolution that is not in favor of Israel.
