Stuart Seldowitz, a former adviser in the Obama administration, has been caught on video making Islamophobic comments and threats against a Muslim food vendor in New York City. The footage, widely circulated on social media, reveals alarming behavior from Seldowitz.
In one video, Seldowitz verbally attacks the vendor, labeling him a "terrorist" and accusing him of supporting terrorism. He goes on to yell derogatory remarks, stating, "You support killing little children. You’re a terrible person." The vendor responds by asserting, "You kill children, not me." Seldowitz concludes with a disturbing statement: "If we killed 4,000 Palestinian kids, you know what? It wasn’t enough. It wasn’t enough."
In a separate video captured during an evening encounter with the same vendor, Seldowitz makes reference to "his friends in immigration" and issues a concerning remark, stating, "the Mukhabarat wants your picture," referring to Egypt’s intelligence agency. He proceeds to threaten the vendor by saying, "The Mukhabarat in Egypt will get your parents. Does your father like his fingernails? They’ll take them out one by one."
Wearing a green hoodie, Seldowitz continues his harassment, taking a photo of the vendor with his phone and making inappropriate comments. He insults Prophet Muhammad and persists in asking offensive questions about the vendor's family.
In another video, Seldowitz harasses the same vendor but is interrupted by a bystander who intervenes, urging him to leave and denouncing his actions as harassment.
Earlier on the same day, Gotham Government Relations, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm, announced the termination of its affiliation with Seldowitz after the disturbing videos surfaced. The firm stated, "Gotham Government Relations has ended all affiliation with Stuart Seldowitz, an individual who hasn't contributed to our work in years. The video of his actions is vile, racist, and beneath the dignity of the standards we practice at our firm."
