Brigadier General Sayyid Razi Mousavi fell victim to a terrorist attack orchestrated by the Israeli regime in the Zainabiyah area of Damascus on the evening of December 25, 2023.
During a memorial ceremony in Tehran for Martyr Sayyed Razi Mousavi, held on the sidelines, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed deep sorrow, acknowledging Mousavi as a dedicated individual who earnestly worked to enhance national and regional security in the ongoing struggle against terrorism and Zionism.
The Iranian top diplomat asserted that despite the cowardly assassination by the criminal Zionist regime, the legacy of Sayyed Razi Mousavi will persist. Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that the reprehensible act will not deter Iran from its steadfast commitment to achieving maximum security in the region and the nation, but instead, it will fortify their determination.
Highlighting recent setbacks for the Zionist regime, Amir-Abdollahian pointed out two significant defeats in the past 80 days. The first occurred on October 7, when Israel experienced a collapse in political and security dimensions. The second defeat stemmed from a military setback due to the resilient resistance of Gaza over the last 80 days.
