Where are "Jabhat al-Nusra," "ISIS," "Al-Qaeda," and other movements claiming Islamism? This question is being strongly raised amid the brutal war that the Israeli army has launched against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with unlimited support from the United States and the West.
Where have these groups hidden? If their voices are not raised now, then when will they be heard?
In response to this question, Dr. Kamal Habib, an expert on Islamic groups, explains: Takfiri groups such as ISIS, Al-Nusra, Al-Qaeda, etc., have their own programs, managers, and directors. Their agenda does not include the Palestinian issue as a central concern or issues that the Islamic world agrees on.
These groups operate and plan to confront the Islamic Ummah, not for the growth and upliftment of the Islamic world. Whenever the Islamic world turns its face to one side, they turn their face to the other side. That's why we don't hear their voices, even with statements in this inhumane war."
He clarifies that these groups are operational and infiltrating, mostly formed by Americans and Western intelligence. They do not consider the resistance and the resistance fighters to be real Mujahideen.
These are takfiri groups, fringe groups like the old fringe groups from the time of the Khawarij who wasted the power and strength of the Islamic world and wore it down. They were not present in the defense of the sacred things of the Islamic world, nor in its great wars.
Regarding the role of these groups, it should be said that they are busy attacking and targeting the Islamic world and the Islamic Ummah.
The silence of these groups now and at that critical moment shows that these are groups that have been created when necessary to weaken the Islamic world and distort the image of Islam, in the shadow of the rise of the western extreme right in America and European countries.
The events in Gaza disgraced these groups, as they disgraced all conspirators and traitors. During crises and conflicts in the Islamic world, hypocrites are recognized as true believers.
These days are the days of revealing the real faces in the Islamic world, from groups such as ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra, and Al-Qaeda to governments such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which not only failed to help the Palestinian people but also helped their enemy and participated in the killing of defenseless and innocent women and children.
