Hezbollah's Secretary General, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, has vowed to respond to Israel's aggression in the southern suburbs of Beirut, which resulted in the martyrdom of seven people, including a woman and two children.
In a speech at the funeral ceremony of Fawad Shekar, a senior commander of Hezbollah, Nasrallah accused Israel of committing a "serious and dangerous assassination" that aimed to target a residential building filled with civilians. He condemned the attack as a "claim and deviation of public opinion and part of the war".
Nasrallah also accused Israel of fabricating evidence to frame Hezbollah for the recent incident in Majdal Shams, which they claimed was an act of revenge for the deaths of Israeli soldiers. He denied Hezbollah's involvement in the incident and accused Israel of trying to mislead public opinion.
The Hezbollah leader emphasized that his movement is willing to take responsibility for its actions, even if they are wrong, but will not be swayed by false accusations. He vowed that Israel's aggression will be answered and warned that the war has entered a new stage, with all fronts involved, including Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran.
Nasrallah also praised the bravery of his followers and emphasized that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for their cause. He warned Israel that they have crossed a red line and will face the anger and revenge of the nation.
The speech comes as tensions between Israel and Hezbollah remain high, with both sides engaged in a bitter conflict. The Israeli military has been launching airstrikes on Lebanon and Syria, while Hezbollah has been firing rockets into Israel.
The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, a senior Hamas leader, has also heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, with Tehran condemning the attack as an act of aggression against its sovereignty and national security.
