The Syrian Foreign Ministry has condemned what it describes as a terrorist act by Israel in Lebanon, asserting that Tel Aviv is trying to escalate the conflict and incite further violence in the region. In a statement reported by the Al-Mayadeen news outlet, Syria denounced what it called an unprecedented crime committed by the "racist Zionist regime," which allegedly employed advanced technology to inflict harm and bloodshed upon the Lebanese population.
The statement expressed strong condemnation of Israel's actions against Lebanese citizens, emphasizing that such acts reflect Israel's intention to broaden the scope of the conflict and its insatiable thirst for more bloodshed.
Additionally, Syria has called on governments and nations around the world to unequivocally condemn the recent violent incident.
This condemnation follows a deadly explosion in Lebanon involving several message-receiving devices known as pitchers, which resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals and left over 3,000 others injured, according to statistics released by the Lebanese Minister of Health.
