On Monday, Lebanon's Ministry of Health announced an increase in the death toll resulting from the assaults by Israeli forces, with the confirmed number of martyrs reaching 2,083. The Ministry also reported that the ongoing violence has resulted in 9,869 injuries across the country.
According to information provided by the Sputnik news agency, eight individuals were reported injured following attacks in the Baalbek al-Harmel province.
Further details from the Ministry indicated that assaults in Al-Baqaa province led to 12 injuries, while four individuals were killed and 26 injured in Al-Nabatieh province. Additional attacks in Janub province resulted in three fatalities and 19 injuries, and strikes in Jabal province led to 15 deaths and 46 injuries.
In a related development, Avikhai Ardei, spokesperson for the Israeli army, issued an urgent warning to residents of South Dahiya, Burj al-Brajneh, and Hadath in Beirut. He urged the evacuation of buildings marked on military maps, citing nearby facilities linked to Hezbollah as potential targets. He recommended residents maintain a distance of at least 500 meters from these locations.
Since the onset of the Gaza conflict, clashes between the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Israeli army have intensified along the border. The Israeli military has significantly expanded its operations in southern Lebanon, which have resulted in numerous casualties.
In recent weeks, the Israeli regime has frequently targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut. Notably, on Friday evening, an airstrike struck a residential area resulting in the death of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah.
In retaliation for these attacks, Hezbollah has conducted various operations targeting different areas of occupied Palestine.
