Hezbollah has accused the Israeli regime of employing cluster bombs in its attacks on innocent civilians in Lebanon, describing these actions as a blatant violation of international law. In a statement released by Hezbollah's public relations and media department, it was reported that Israeli forces bombarded the area between the towns of Hanin and Al-Tiri using these prohibited munitions.
The statement highlighted that the US-backed Israeli regime exploits perceived weaknesses within the international community and various global organizations to carry out such assaults, noting that hospitals and rescue vehicles have also been targeted. Hezbollah condemned these bombings as part of a broader pattern of aggression against both the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples.
Additionally, the mayor of Al-Mu'aisra in Lebanon addressed the situation, asserting that the Israeli regime is retaliating against the Lebanese populace for their steadfast support of the resistance movement. He stated, "The enemy seeks revenge for our loyalty to the resistance. Contrary to their claims, there are no missile platforms or military centers here. Instead, they are committing acts of violence to instill fear in us, but we stand united behind the resistance."
The bombardment of residential areas has become a recurring theme, with reports indicating that Israeli fighters have targeted civilian houses in the Toul settlement in Nabatieh as part of ongoing operations against Lebanese communities.
