The US Secretary of State made a statement during his visit to the region, asserting that the ongoing conflict will only come to an end once all the hostages in Gaza are released. The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime has also repeatedly emphasized the importance of this matter.
However, as the war enters its second month and the Zionist regime struggles to secure even a minor victory, there are emerging voices from the White House advocating for a temporary halt to the conflict. This proposal is being presented under the pretext of a humanitarian ceasefire, with the aim of facilitating a prisoner exchange.
The United States and the Zionist regime had believed that by inflicting a massive death toll of 10,000 and reducing Gaza to ruins, the terrified resistance would be compelled to seek an end to the war and release the Zionist soldiers. However, as time went on and the intensity of bombings escalated, along with the widespread massacre of the people of Gaza, there has been no news regarding the release of the Zionist soldiers.
Presently, the leaders of the White House, assuming the role of commanders in this conflict, have reached the conclusion that the sole means of liberating the captives, or as they refer to them, the hostages, is to cease the war and engage in a large-scale prisoner exchange.
The resistance is calling for the release of over 7,000 Palestinian citizens who have been imprisoned by the regime on various grounds in recent years, with some serving lengthy sentences.
Despite the limited lifespan of this regime to carry out these long-term sentences, the resistance remains steadfast in their demand to free Palestinian children from Zionist prisons.
However, the release and exchange of prisoners would signify a significant and comprehensive defeat for the regime known for its atrocities against children. Due to this reason, despite the reported deaths of at least 80 prisoners in Gaza, the regime has not agreed to the proposed exchange. It is believed that such an exchange would only compound the failures experienced by Netanyahu's administration.
Recognizing this situation, the leaders of the resistance in Gaza have made it clear that there will be no unconditional release of foreign captives unless it is verified that they have no affiliation with the Israeli army or police. In exchange for a ceasefire and the provision of essential supplies such as medicine, food, and fuel, the Zionist soldiers must either remain in captivity, face deteriorating conditions, or be subject to a prisoner exchange.
