The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has confirmed that Russia is cognizant of these military operations. However, it is worth noting that Maria Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, has refuted claims made by the Azerbaijani authorities, specifically denying their assertion that Russian peacekeepers were informed about the initiation of the conflict. Zakharova has categorically labeled this information as false.
Amidst this development, the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued a formal request to Armenia, urging the immediate withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the Karabakh region. Furthermore, Azerbaijan has called for the dissolution of the military and government structures within the Republic of Artsakh.
The Foreign Ministry of Baku has made it clear that the cessation of military operations will only be considered if the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh army comply with the request for dissolution.
In a separate report, Azerbaijani media outlets, citing information from their Ministry of Defense, have announced the successful destruction of a "Tor" missile system near the Khankandi area.
Simultaneously, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has disclosed that Azerbaijani forces are launching precision attacks on their army positions, utilizing drones and precision rockets. Videos documenting Azerbaijan's assault on the Karabakh region have captured sounds resembling those produced by Israeli drones.
