Jerusalem - In a recent escalation of tensions in the region, Lebanon's Hezbollah movement fired over 100 rockets at Israeli occupied areas of Galilee and Golan Heights, according to reports from the Zionist regime.
The Israeli media outlet Al-Mayadin reported that the rockets were launched simultaneously, with more than 100 rockets fired towards the occupied territories. The report stated that the sounds of successive explosions were heard in the occupied areas, with some sounds audible as far as the Tiberias lake area.
The Israeli radio station announced that an alarm has been sounded in the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights regions. The Israeli newspaper Israel Hum estimated that around 80 missiles were fired.
At least two Israelis were injured in a rocket attack from Lebanon, according to reports from the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Aharonot.
The attack comes as tensions between Israel and Lebanon continue to rise. The Israeli regime has been accused of censoring news about the attacks due to fear that Zionist refugees will not return to the north of occupied territories.
In response to an Israeli attack on the suburbs of Qana, Lebanon's Hezbollah movement launched a counterattack against Israeli military targets. The Lebanese Islamic Resistance targeted the command headquarters of the 411th artillery battalion of the Israeli enemy with suicide drones, killing and injuring several Israeli soldiers.
The Islamic Resistance also targeted the military center of the Israeli regime with an S5 missile. The attack was seen as a response to the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and its recent attacks on Gaza.
The Palestinian nation has been steadfast in its resistance against Israeli occupation, with many Palestinians calling for international intervention to end the occupation.
