Netanyahu: I have no desire to enter into a new Russian-Israeli military confrontation
Israel does not want a military confrontation with Russia, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Pointing out that the relations between Tel Aviv and Moscow are difficult and complicated, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that he has no desire for a military confrontation with Russia.
“I have no desire to enter into a new Russian-Israeli military confrontation. And no one wants to,” Netanyahu said in an interview with CNN.
At the same time, according to Netanyahu, Israel has a “difficult relationship” with Russia, since Israeli and Russian planes fly from each other “at a distance of spitting” on the border with Syria.
“Israel needs freedom of action in the air. And this freedom of action can lead us to a confrontation with Russian pilots. I prefer that this does not happen,” he stressed.
