A joint operation room has been established by the United States and Israel in Jordan and Erbil. Its purpose is to target the resistance axis and disrupt the connection between Iraq and Syria. In recent days, there has been a significant deployment of heavy and unprecedented equipment from the US to eastern Syria. Most of this equipment has been transported to the American base located in the Omar oil field of the Konico gas plant, situated in the northern region of Deir ez-Zor.
Meanwhile, the resistance groups, along with the Syrian army and local forces, have reorganized and relocated their forces and equipment in these regions. The situation in eastern Syria is currently tense and critical. The Russian army has also bolstered its presence in these areas. These developments may potentially lead to a conflict, and it remains to be seen how patient each side will be.
In recent days, the Russian and Syrian armies have collaborated to attack and eliminate the positions of several groups supported by the United States near the American base in the al-Tanf region. Meanwhile, the US military has stated that it has deployed a number of F-16 fighters to the area to support the A-10 fighters. However, it is still unclear from which base these fighters will be deployed to reach eastern Syria. The United States is highly displeased by the apparent involvement of Iran in both the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria, as it perceives a direct link between the two. This has caused significant anger within the American government.
On the other hand, the US operations rooms located in Erbil, Jordan, and Qatar are actively disseminating numerous rumors and false information regarding the events taking place in eastern Syria. It is important to note that none of these claims have been verified or proven to be true. While the United States is making efforts to pressure terrorist groups into severing the border between Iraq and Syria, with the aim of disrupting the land connection between Iran and Lebanon, Syrian government officials have been visiting these areas in recent days. Their purpose is to assert that these territories belong to Syria and, during their speeches, they have consistently emphasized the need to expel the American occupiers.
While an immediate conflict may not be on the horizon, the involved parties are actively sending equipment and reinforcing their positions in eastern Syria. The United States is particularly displeased with Iran's support to Russia in the Ukraine conflict. Another factor that has added to the confusion within the White House is the explicit declaration by Iranian officials that they seek the expulsion of the United States not only from eastern Syria but from the entire region. Nevertheless, Iran, Turkey, and Russia have reached a consensus that the best course of action to safeguard their respective interests is to remove American forces from Syria. This development has significantly heightened the concerns of the United States.
