Missile Strike Targets Al-Omar Oil Field Base in Deir Ezzor

Sputnik's correspondent in Syria reported on Thursday that the Al-Omar oil field base, the largest American occupation base on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor, was targeted in a missile attack that evening. Additionally, al-Mayadeen covered the drone attack in the same location.
According to Sputnik's correspondent in Deir Ezzor, the explosions were audible from within the Maidan al-Omar base, resulting from multiple missiles striking its depths.
The journalist further noted that attempts by American anti-aircraft defenses to thwart the attack on Thursday evening proved unsuccessful.
