The spokesperson for the Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Wednesday that Al-Ahli Hospital in northern Gaza City is overwhelmed beyond its capacity due to the influx of a large number of injured individuals. The statement appeals for international assistance and protection against the heightened bombardment by Israel.
Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, in a statement posted on X, emphasized the critical situation, stating that patients are at risk of bleeding to death. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to utilize the medical complex to its fullest extent for treating the wounded.
Highlighting the formidable challenges faced by the medical staff, the spokesperson underscored the need for support and protection from international organizations.
