Lebanese news sources have reported a series of new airstrikes by Israeli forces targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut. According to an Al-Mayadeen correspondent, Israeli warplanes focused their attacks on residential buildings in the vicinity of the Lebanese University.
The strikes reportedly hit areas between the University neighborhood and Al-Liki district in southern Beirut.
In recent weeks, there has been a noted escalation in Israeli military actions against Lebanon. The recent airstrikes have resulted in significant casualties, including the deaths of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, along with several party commanders and local civilians.
